That's lame
You know what sucks...
When you come home after being away for a month and go to see your best friend at work, and she talks to your sister more than she talks to you.
What the hell? You see my sister everyday in gym class, so you're still going to talk to her and not talk to me at all? She acted like I wasn't even there...
Whatever. I guess I should just not care. But ugh!
edit--- Hahaha, i posted on her myspace "Hey, stop hanging out with my sister. You dont even talk to me anymore :(" And she texted me "I love you Aleecia!" and i said yeah right. and she said "Are you mad at me?" mwahahahaha. :D i love messing with people. well, some people! hehe

Half Full or Half Empty?
Today in my public speaking class, I actually got in front of the class to do some "impromptu speaking"... and i didn't get nervous or my voice didn't get all crackly. Lol. I was proud of myself because whenever I have to talk in front of the class my voice just gets all shaky and I just cant do very well? Anyways...
Our teacher came around and passed us all these quotes face down on our desk, and we he called our name we had to go to the front of the class, read the quote, and then say how it related to us. Ha!
My quote was from Helen Keller. It said "No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new doorway for the human spirit."
So I read it and then I kinda took a deep breath, cuz it is so my specialty to make stuff up on the spot. So I said "Well, I can relate to this because I am a very optimistic person so I think of the glass as half FULL! Now, pessimists think of it as half empty. How far can you get with something half empty?! Not very far! But if it's half full, you can go as far as you want!"
Chyeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! I'm awesome. The End.

I love being at MSU.
I love being away from my family.
I love the fact that I think I'm losing weight. Actually, I know I am. All this walking to and from class is killer, but it's actually helping! But, I hate the fact that I have shin splints b/c of all of it. And they hurt. A lot! But it's worth it.
I love Carrie Underwood's voice. Lol had to add that.
...and I love Amy cuz she reads all my blogs.

It's official... Ashlie (my "best" friend) is not going to go to MSU next year. :(
It makes me sad. There's so way, no how, no nothing! She's not even going to think about it. I guess her dad is going over to Kuwait in September and she "doesn't want to leave her mom all alone." Which, yeah... i understand you want to be there for your mom, but she's an adult!
And her other excuses are "I already have a nice job, and I wouldn't have to worry about any other bills, only my car!" *sigh* Lol. I really want to just cry? I may seem cheesy the reason why. But UGH!
Ok.. I'll just lay it down how it is! Being a military kid... SUCKS! You have to change your friends every 2 years, and I've never really been good at keeping in touch with old friends. I've put in so much effort, they just don't seem to put the effort back, so in the end... I give up! That's why at the beginning i said "best" friend. Cuz well, I've never really had one!
Ashlie coming to MSU would have allowed me to maybe finally build that one friendship that I've always wanted. Seriously. That's what I've always wanted, a good friend. I don't really know how to describe the whole situation. It's in my head, and I know what it is, i just can't describe it? Ashlie coming to MSU would have allowed us to hang out EVERYday and become closer? But it's not going to happen.
I told her "that makes me really sad, but I guess I just have to get over it." And she came back with "whenever I don't work, I can always come see you!" Yeah right. I bet she never comes to see me. And if she does, she'll bring her boyfriend along, and all they do is play kissy face and hold each other and it makes me feel awkward when trying to talk to her.
I've never had a friend for more than 2 years. Well! Amy and I have "known" each other for almost 3 years! Lol. But ugh, you live so damn far away! Gosh!

Ready Freddy
I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO ready to go back to MSU.
I might be a nerd, but I actually enjoy doing school stuff! LOL! I dunno, it keeps me busy! Unless it's history stuff, that's boring beyond belief! For me at least.
Considering if I make it into pharmacy school, I still have 6 and 1/2 years of schooling to go... that's a good thing i enjoy it!
Jeez. I have been home for like 35 days! That's 34 too many ;)
There's another snow storm that's supposed to come through this weekend! Classes better not get cancelled next week, I'll be angry!
Random question: How are marshmellows made? I'm eating some right now, and I'm just curious! :]

One Amazing Concert Aleecia Gets To Go To! :)
Yes, so I get to go to concert #5 on March 4th. With all those bands I just said, lol!
I'm very very very very excited! Since I like all 4 WOO! First time I've ever known all the bands I went to the concert for! Now, I've got to memorize ALL their songs. Woot! I just dunno if that girl in the cobra starship picture is actually in the band or not... i know it the "snakes on a plane" song she sings back up..but thats about it! Oh well, i dun curr! Hehe
